This is not the character creation form. These are the guidelines about your characters.
There are two types of characters: humans and shape-shifters.
Human characters are slightly weaker than shape-shifters. They live shorter lives, often unaware of what occurs in the shape-shifters' worlds. However, humans are often happier and they have more capabilities in society. Oftentimes, there are subtle differences that set shape-shifters off from humans, just enough to keep them from interacting and interfering with human society (as if they would want to anyway).
There are two types of humans: Medéme Humans, average humans, and Hýcgende Humans, who know of the shifter world. Hýcgende Humans are Hunters who fear for their safety and survival when surrounded by the supernatural. They are stronger, better, and faster than the Medéme Humans. Medéme humans are average humans, but they still are not weak. They can pose a great danger if they find out about shifters, and even in their occasional unknowing, they are still dangerous.
Medéme Humans may, and often do, become Hýcgende.
Some of the Medéme lead a fight against the shape-shifters as well, though they do not know what they do.
Both Medéme and Hýcgende characters may be created at this time.
Shape-shifters are eternal; they can live forever. However, the existence of the humans often confines their life span to less than five hundred years. As with humans, there are two types of shape-shifters: the Wearg or Docgartis, the wolves, and the Ǽlc (pronounced "EYE-lc). The Wearg shifters become wolves, and the Ǽlc are all those that become other creatures.
The Ǽlc shifters are wanderers, with no clans, packs, or tribes.
The Wearg shifters are more organized; they are divided into different packs and tribes by their species, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The Æscgrǽg (EYE-sc-greyeg) wolves are the gray wolves, the common wolves, the timber wolves. The Sáwoldréor wolves are the Ethiopian wolves, sure and strong. The Mexican wolves belong to the Scórtnes clan. They are the smallest and quickest of all the wolves. The Ciele are the Arctic wolves, who can withstand all but the very lowest of temperatures. The Tundra wolves, the black wolves, belong to the Colsweart clan. Finally, there are the Réodan, the russet/red wolves, the rarest of all. They are the ruling class of the wolves, the strongest, best, and most ancient.
All of these packs may be joined at the moment.
Therefore, a few quick rules/guidelines for each of the species.
1. Medéme humans may not shape-shift.
2. They can know of the shape-shifters, but only in the very back of their minds.
3. They may fall in love with shape-shifters and with hunter humans.
4. They may become hunter humans later; however, their character description must be updated and the transition must be approved by a staff member.
1. Hýcgende humans may not shape-shift.
2. They must have some constructive reason to hate shape-shifters.
3. They may fall in love with average humans, and I suppose with shape-shifters - however, to love a shifter, they must have approval of a staff member.
4. They may not become shape-shifters. Ever.
1. Ǽlc shifters absolutely MUST be wanderers.
2. They must change into one animal, and one animal alone.
3. They can love whoever they like.
4. They cannot become fluffy animals with wings, anything that could not exist.
5. They cannot become anything with an unconventional alteration (like a tiger with pink and purple fur).
6. They cannot become wolves, else they would be Wearg.
7. They cannot become prehistoric or fantastical animals. No saber-toothed tigers, no unicorns, NO dragons.
1. Wearg shifters must become a wolf of some kind.
2. They must belong to a pack unless they have the approval of a moderator or administrator.
3. They can love whoever they like.
4. They had to have begun their lives as humans, and become shifters later on. Note: Shifter children can be born, but it is very, very rare. If you want to RP as one of these children, ask a staff member.
Those are all of the character creation rules. And now, one final rule that leaves all the others in the dust.

That is all. Any questions? Drop me a PM.
